Al years we go to the Campina Farm Days on Ascension Day or Pentecost. A super fun family event where farms all over the Netherlands participate. They open their doors to the public for two days a year. Free of charge. This year the Campina Farm Days will take place on (last) Friday 31 May and Monday 10 June (2nd Whit Monday).
- Together with my boys, my brother and my nephew we drove to Nigtevecht this time, where Campina ambassador Epke Zonderland was also present.
- First we were shown around the farm by the farmer.
- Nice to get my boys out of the city at least once a year with this event and to tell them a bit more about farm life.
- Fortunately, they now know that milk is made by the cows on the farm and not by the Albert Heijn ;).
Education + entertainment = edutainment
In addition to this educational tour, there is always some form of entertainment for the kids. The farmer uses fun game activities to show how milk from grazing cows in the meadow ends up in the glass at home on the table. And this year, all game elements during the Campina Farm Days have been renewed, hurray!

Campina Farm Days – The PROthots Practical information
If you are coming to the second Campina Farm Day on Monday 10 June, Whit Monday (check the participating farms here ), it is wise to come by bike due to the limited number of parking spaces. Pets are also not allowed on the farm.
The participating farms are free to enter on 31 May and 10 June between 10:00 and 16:00.
Wear old clothes + boots, because you can get dirty. After all, you are on the farm!
During the Campina Farm Days there is plenty to do for young and old, admission is free and you will have a wonderful day outside. Will you also come on June 10th?
