HAlthough the well-known, synthetic and brightly colored play mats have not done our interior any good for years, the new version from Stadmatties is certainly worth seeing!These rugs are made of natural materials, do not contain flashy colours and also show the map of your city including real landmarks.

A mat from every city
The goal is to eventually transform all cities in the world into ‘City Matties’, but for now we’ve started with our capital Amsterdam. The sketches for matties of other cities are already ready! Bring on Rotterdam, Utrecht, The Hague, Paris, Barcelona, Stockholm.
Dutch product with an exotic touch
The product was created with the idea to give the existing play and traffic mats a new meaning. A collaboration between an illustrator, city architect and product designer ultimately resulted in the Stadmatties. Although the matties were conceived on Dutch soil, the makers crossed the border for the materials: the mats are made of Portuguese cork in combination with natural Vietnamese rubber.
